01. Estimates and Pricing

All quotes are based on the information and photos provided at the time of request. Pricing may be adjusted if:

• •The volume, weight, or type of items differs from what was represented
• •Additional items or services are requested on site
• •Heavy, hazardous, or specialty items require additional labor or equipment
• •Access limitations (stairs, distance, or obstructions) increase labor time

Final pricing will be confirmed before work begins.

02. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept approved payment methods including credit/debit card and other authorized electronic payment options.

For recurring or commercial service agreements, billing will align with the agreed service frequency.

Failure to remit payment may result in late fees and suspension of future service.

03. Cancellation Policy

We operate on scheduled routes and reserve time specifically for your property.

• •Cancellations made less than 24 hours before scheduled service may incur a fee.
• •No-shows will be treated as late cancellations.

Weather-related cancellations are determined solely by Jake's Junk Removal. If we cancel due to weather or unsafe conditions, we will reschedule at no penalty to the customer.

04. Recurring Service Agreements

Customers enrolled in discounted recurring service plans receive reduced pricing in exchange for a service commitment. Recurring plans automatically renew unless canceled by phone and/or in writing prior to the next billing cycle. If a recurring agreement is canceled before the end of the agreed term, previously completed services may be recalculated at standard pricing and the difference billed at cancellation.

05. Access to Property

The customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to all service areas, including:

• •Clear access to the items being removed
• •Secured pets
• •Unlocked gates and clear driveways or parking for our truck

If safe access is not provided at the time of service, the cancellation policy may apply.

06. Prohibited and Hazardous Items

Certain materials cannot be accepted, including but not limited to hazardous waste, chemicals, solvents, asbestos, medical or biohazardous waste, wet paint, and other regulated substances. We reserve the right to decline any item that cannot be transported or disposed of safely and legally. Any such items must be disclosed prior to service.

07. Property Damage Disclaimer

Our crews take care when removing items. However:

• •We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to floors, walls, doorways, railings, or landscaping.
• •Removing large or heavy items through tight spaces carries inherent risk; minor marks or scuffs may occur during normal removal.

Any known fragile conditions should be disclosed prior to service.

08. Liability

Jake's Junk Removal is not responsible for damage that occurs during normal removal procedures unless such damage is the result of proven negligence. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service provided.

09. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the service provided, you must notify us within 48 hours of service completion. We will make reasonable efforts to correct any service-related issues. Refunds are not guaranteed and will be determined at our discretion after review.

10. Weather Conditions

Service may be affected by weather conditions. We reserve the right to delay, reschedule, or modify services due to rain, lightning, high winds, freezing temperatures, or other unsafe working conditions. Safety decisions are made solely by Jake's Junk Removal.

12. Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed by Jake's Junk Removal.

13. Age Restrictions

Our services and SMS communications are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. By using our services or opting into SMS communications, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from individuals under 18 years of age.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located within North Carolina.

15. Changes to Terms

Jake's Junk Removal reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
